Some health officials did not give data to the Army – Problems with Information on 300,000 vaccinated people

Army Commander General Shavendra Silva says that there are problems with the information on about 300,000 people who were given the first million vaccines by the start of Covid vaccination, as the health sector has not provided it to the Army for computerization.

The Commander of the Army, General Shavendra Silva addressing a television program today (14) said that most of these problems have arisen during the first vaccination program in which the health sector collected data.

He pointed out that the Army had computerized the data from the first day of the vaccination and that all the data was safe and accurate.

However, he said that due to the inclusion of vaccinated information in the books written by the health sector, some data has become ambiguous.

The Army Commander further stated that this situation was due to the refusal of some health officials to provide the data when they went to obtain it.

“The Army computerized and collected data from day one. But in the health sector, we saw a system of writing in books. So the Air Force was used to collect that first vaccination data. At that time the Air Force had problems in various places. There were places where those details were not given. I had heard that some asked who said to collect those data. When the Air Force arrived they were said that data could not be given.

At present about 300,000 pieces of data have to be entered. It has to come from the health sector. That problem is in the first million vaccines. There are some data gaps. There are obscure places. Now the second dose of AstraZeneca has to be given to about 560,000. Therefore they have to come out. At that point, the situation will be resolved. ”
