Nimal Mudunkotuwa, President of the Principals’ Grade Contributors’ Association said that the authorities are requested to make it a priority to vaccinate principals and teachers throughout the country.
Mr. Mudunkotuwa said that teachers should be given priority in vaccinating as they will have to deal with a large number of students after schools start in the future.
He also said that necessary steps should be taken to provide them with covid vaccine as soon as possible because even though schools are closed, the majority of principals have to go to school for various duties and in addition, principals have to implement programs that allow teachers to work online and to schedule their time tables.
