Indian police have arrested three students from Kashmir for allegedly supporting Pakistan during a recent cricket match between India and Pakistan.
The three students, who were studying in Agra, are said to have celebrated Pakistan’s victory by chanting anti-India slogans after Pakistan won the match.
They were later expelled from the university where they were educated and arrested following a complaint lodged by members of the Bharathiya Janatha Party.
Meanwhile, a school teacher in Rajasthan has also been arrested for making a statement on WhatsApp congratulating Pakistan on its victory.
Also, two medical students who had supported Pakistan in Indian-administered Kashmir have been arrested.
Meanwhile, it is reported that the people of Kashmir were celebrating the victory of Pakistan.
