None of the suspects/teachers arrested for being members of a protest that violated quarantine laws and blocked the road in front of the Presidential Secretariat have been confirmed to be Covid infected.
Police Media Spokesman Senior DIG Ajith Rohana stated that this has been confirmed during the rapid antigen test conducted on them.
Among those arrested were 16 female teachers, 22 male teachers and six others who came with them. Ajith Rohana further stated that they will be produced in court today.
