The cabinet has given its approval to revise the retirement age of government officials.
It will be effective from January 1, 2023.
The Interim Budget 2022 passed by the Parliament has revised the compulsory retirement age to 60 years for officials working in the proposed government agencies.
The Cabinet has approved the proposal presented by the President to issue the relevant circular instructions, imposing rules and regulations.
