    A decision from the cabinet about the visa crisis

    The President’s Office announces that several decisions have been taken in yesterday’s cabinet meeting regarding the controversial visa fee and visa service.

    Accordingly, the Immigration Department will bear the full responsibility of issuing the relevant visa when a foreigner enters the country.

    Also, the cabinet has decided to maintain the old fee of $50 per person for a 30-day visa when foreigners come to this country and to implement the free visa service provided so far to the seven countries namely India, China, Russia, Japan, Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia today (6).

    Meanwhile, the following announcement was made today by the Department of Immigration and Emigration regarding the visas of foreigners coming to this country.
