When the primary sections of all schools are reopened from tomorrow (25), principals are allowed to bring in children to schools where there are more than 40 students in a class.
These steps have been taken in view of the need to maintain schools in compliance with health guidelines.
Accordingly, principals can decide on a method of bringing children to schools with more than 40 students in a class, said the Secretary to the Ministry of Education, Prof. Kapila Perera.
Primary sections of government-approved private schools and Catholic schools will also be started in parallel.
