There have been 47 deaths due to Covid virus infection yesterday.
This was confirmed by the Director General of Health Services Dr. Asela Gunawardena today.
Accordingly, the total number of Covid deaths in the country is 3,917.
Of the 47 Covid deaths that occurred yesterday (20), 21 were women.
