The Gampaha police arrested two railway ticket inspectors for assaulting a train passenger yesterday.
The police say that a person residing at Bulathkade Junction, Gampaha has been assaulted like this.
The police stated that the two railway inspectors assaulted the person in a dispute over the validity of the ticket even though he had a valid one.
The two arrested railway ticket inspectors are residents of Gampaha and Wayangoda.
