The police broke into a drug party organized through Facebook

A group of Panwila police officers broke into a party organized through Facebook at a hotel in Madolkele, Panwila this morning.

At that time, 98 young men and 13 young women who had come to this party were staying there, eating, drinking and having fun.

The police say that they broke in here according to a phone message received by the 119 police emergency department. The phone message said that a drug party was taking place here.

According to that, the police has checked everyone who stayed here. The police have caught 10 people who were in possession of drugs. The police arrested the two who organized the party along with those 10 people.

The police say they found 02 grams and 150 milligrams of mandi drug, 01 grams and 250 milligrams of handus drug, 250 milligrams of ganja, and 210 milligrams of ice.

These suspects are aged between 21 and 33 years. The police say that they have come from Matara, Narammala, Ambathana, Murutalawa, Ukuwela, Gampola, Nuwara Eliya and Peradeniya.

This group was supposed to be presented to the court.
