    Two of Anju’s disciples were trapped by STF

    The Police Special Task Force (STF) has nabbed two key followers of an organized criminal named Sinharage Amal Chaminda Silva alias Anju of the Gona Kovil, who was involved in drug trafficking while hiding in Italy, France and the United Arab Emirates.

    The suspects were identified as Indika Suranga Zoysa alias Lansiyawatte Sudda and Pallage Kithsiri Primalal Silva. Sudda, who was arrested during a raid in Ratmalana last night, is a convict that has been released previously on bail after being charged with five counts of murder, the STF said.

    The suspects were found in possession of 05 grams and 110 milligrams of heroin and two mobile phones with 46 grams and 400 milligrams of Kerala ganja.

    On the orders of STF Commander Waruna Jayasundara, according to the information received by STF Intelligence unit OIC Chief Inspector Nadeeka Silva and other officers, the raid was carried out by a team of officers including Inspector H.G.S.C. Nissanka.
