Development officers across the country take trade union action

All the development officers working all over the island have taken steps to take a trade union action today (29).

Accordingly, based on several demands, they are taking sick leave and are taking action to quit the service today.

This was said by Mr. Anuradha Seneviratne, President of Development Officers Trade Union Federation, at a press conference held in Kandy yesterday (28).
