The Ministry of Transport has given instructions to implement the special public transport plan from April 5th to 15th on the occasion of New Year and Ramadan.
The Sri Lanka Transport Board and the National Transport Commission say that bus schedules will be canceled for people going to villages from Colombo and buses will be used according to demand.
The Railway Department also mentions that it is planned to run trains under a special plan during that time.
