The Sri Lankan players who played the reply innings managed to achieve the victory by losing only 5 wickets. Accordingly, Sri Lanka won by 5 wickets against Bangladesh. Charith Asalanka, who played an excellent innings with the bat, scored an unbeaten 62 runs and Sadheera Samarawickrama scored 54 runs.
