A team of International Monetary Fund (IMF) officials will visit the island today (11).
A delegation including International Monetary Fund’s Asia Pacific Department Director Krishna Sri Niwasan is going to participate in this visit.
This visit will be done in conjunction with the first review of the financial fund to be done at the end of this year.
This delegation is scheduled to stay in the island until the 23rd.
State Minister for Finance Ranjith Siambalapitiya said that the relevant delegation is also scheduled to meet President Ranil Wickramasinghe this morning.
