Kadugannawa Police officers have arrested a member of SLPP Kadugannawa Municipal Council’s along with three hemp plants.
This MP, who is also a postmaster, has come forward as a candidate for the upcoming local government election.
Yesterday, the police received information that there were three hemp plants growing in pots in this MP’s house. Accordingly, a police team went to the MP’s house and found those cannabis trees during the inspection. Accordingly, the three hemp trees were taken into police custody, and the MP was arrested.
