06 people including two women who came to Sri Lanka from Dubai were arrested with 06 kilos of gold and 40 iPhones at the airport a few moments ago by the officers of the Criminal Investigation Department.
Information from the Criminal Investigation Department stated that the two women had come wearing the gold stock and were arrested when they came out after the customs checks.
The two women are residents of Negombo and the 4 men are residents of Akurana.
Airport information disclosed that they are currently being interrogated regarding this smuggling.
Do the propper interrogation and total value of seize amount cridit to govenment account also use for fuel and Fertilizer imports, it will take time but give priority do it fast.
