The Sri Lanka Freedom Party has today (16) unanimously decided not to support any candidate in the election of the President.
This decision was taken in a discussion held today (16) under the chairmanship of the party chairman, former president Mr. Maithripala Sirisena.
Meanwhile, the Tamil National Alliance says that no decision has been taken so far on who to support during the elections for the election of the new President.
