The railway unions say that the railway workers have started a strike with immediate effect.
This includes train controllers, locomotive drivers and train workers.
It was announced this morning that 22 trains had been canceled due to the inability of railway employees to come to work for the train service.
The fuel crisis as a whole is reported to have led to the strike.
