Harin Fernando, the National List MP of the Samagi Jana Balawegaya, has decided to leave the party.
It is reported that he informed the party leader Sajith Premadasa about this at a meeting of the SJB held this evening.
MP Harin Fernando says that he going to work as an independent member of parliament.
“At a time when the country is in crisis, we have no time to be late and as it seems that the right decisions are not being taken quickly, I have decided to become independent,” he said.
