Kanni Wignaraja, Assistant Secretary-General of the United Nations and Regional Director for the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) Asia and the Pacific, called on Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa with a delegation from the UNDP.
She praised the success of the vaccination program in Sri Lanka.
The Prime Minister said that discussions were held on youth empowerment, climate change, and the upliftment of the private sector.
The two sides also assured that they would work closely with Sri Lanka.
