The Colombo Municipal Council has appealed to the public to refrain from holding Christmas parties in venues and houses in violation of health guidelines in the face of the Covid 19 virus spread.
Accordingly, the Chief Medical Officer of the Colombo Municipal Council Ruwan Wijemuni has requested the public to call 0112 67 61 61 if such parties are being held in the Colombo Municipal Council area.
Commenting to newawaveLk, he asked the public to further support the health sector in controlling the Covid 19 virus spread without holding any Christmas parties this festive season.
