Relevant documents have been submitted to the Election Commission nominating former Parliamentarian Jayantha Ketagoda for the post of National List Member of the Sri Lanka People’s Front which fell vacant due to the resignation of Ajith Nivard Cabraal.
The documents were handed over by the General Secretary of the Sri Lanka People’s Front, MP Sagara Kariyawasam today (13), the Elections Commission said.
The commission will meet and issue a gazette notification regarding the new National List MP, the official said.
