The Ministry of Education said in a statement that a Cabinet Memorandum has been submitted to increase the stipend paid to teachers and examiners for the GCE O/L paper marking.
It also states that the reports of the committees appointed for that purpose are to be received on 14.06.2024.
Accordingly, the report is expected to be submitted to the next Cabinet and the stipends will be increased accordingly, the announcement further states.
