It is reported that the chief rail signaller of the train that was running from Colombo Fort to Trincomalee this morning (16) fell down on the way.
The train was stopped at Gampaha railway station and waiting for signals from the controller to resume its movement.
It is said that the controller fell down from the train between Ganemulla and Bulagahagoda during the investigation due to his missing.
The train controller who fell has been admitted to Ragama Teaching Hospital for treatment.
It is said that due to this incident, there will be a delay in the train running on the main line.
