Delta can spread even before the Symptoms Appear – Research Found

Recent research has shown that people infected with the Delta strain do not show symptoms of Kovid-19 until two days after the virus begins to spread.

A detailed analysis in Guangdong, China reveals this.

Symptoms usually begin to appear in humans 5.8 days after delta infection and 1.8 days after testing for positive for viral RNA.

Individuals were left with nearly two days to spread the virus before showing any signs of COVID-19.

Before the onset of Delta, individuals infected with variant SARS-CoV-2 took an average of 6.3 days to develop symptoms and 5.5 days to test positive for viral RNA, with a very short time of 0.8 days for the virus to spread.

As a result, 74% of delta infections occur in the pre-symptomatic stage. This is a higher rate than previous variants.

It has also been found that people who have not been vaccinated are 65% less likely to get Delta infection than those who have not been vaccinated.

It has also been found that people who have been vaccinated are 65% less likely to infect another person with Delta virus than those who have not been vaccinated. It means people who have not been vaccinated are more likely to spread the virus.

People infected with the delta virus are more likely to spread the virus before symptoms develop than those infected with the original strain.

“It’s harder to stop,” said Benjamin Cowling, an epidemiologist at the University of Hong Kong and co-author of the study.

Between May and June of this year, Colling and his colleagues were able to analyze detailed test data from 101 people in Guangdong and their closest relatives.

The researchers say the findings show that the “successful implementation of the COVID – 19 vaccine is a significant and convincing part of our response to the epidemic.”
