The Canadian government has decided to severely limit the granting of visas for international students for the next two years.
Accordingly, the Ministry of Immigration has announced that it has been decided to lower visas for international students by 35 percent relative to the year 2023.
The government of Canada states that the visas given to the students who have completed their post-graduation training will be limited and that they are expected to send the students who have completed their studies back to their countries.
The Government of Canada further states that this decision was taken as a solution to the severe housing crisis that has arisen in Canada.
