Australia defeated India by six wickets and won the 2023 ICC World Cricket Cup today (19). This is the sixth ODI World Cup they have won.
The Australian team, who won the toss and elected to field first in the match held at the Ahmedabad Stadium, restricted the strong Indian team to 240 runs.
Although the Indian bowlers managed to take the first 3 wickets of the Australian team chasing the target of 241 runs for 47, they could not escape the batting attack of Travis Head.
Accordingly, Travis Head scored 137 runs with four sixes and fifteen fours in one hundred and twenty balls. Marnus Labuschagne scored 58 runs without losing his wicket.
Travis Head won the man of the match award.
