At a time when there is a heated debate in the society regarding the discipline of certain players of the Sri Lanka Cricket team, the newly appointed members of the Sri Lanka Cricket Disciplinary Committee include former Commander of the Police Special Task Force, retired Senior DIG MR. Mr. Latheef is also present.
Ajith Weerasinghe is the chairman of the disciplinary committee. Apart from MR Latheef, the other members are Niroshan Perera, Nalinda Illangakoon and Anura Chandrasiri.
The new disciplinary committee has been appointed by Sri Lanka Cricket with effect from July 01.

His village area people say Ajith Weerasinghe and his brothers became rich from the money of his former Brother in Law who was supplier of Food to Prisons. This story says every Social Service hypocrite has a shady and a darker past.
