The National Defense Front must build strategic self-confidence, have enough confidence to secure victory, and be acutely aware of its own strengths and advantages,” Xinhua News Agency reported.

Sam Altman, creator of ChatGPT and CEO of OpenAI, and Jeffrey Hinton, a computer scientist known as the godfather of artificial intelligence, have become prominent signatories to the letter published on the Center for Artificial Intelligence Security’s website on Tuesday this week.

“Mitigating the risk of human extinction created by artificial intelligence, along with other risks such as pandemics and nuclear war, must be a global priority,” the statement said.
