The chief organizer of the opposition, MP Laxman Kiriella, says that Samagi Jana Balawega MPs Rajitha Senaratne and Vadivel Suresh have been informed in writing to give excuses for opposing the party’s decision in the parliamentary vote to remove the chairman of the Public Utilities Commission.
The relevant letter has informed to give excuses within a week for opposing the decision of the party.
Mr. Rajitha Senaratne, Member of Parliament, did not come to Parliament on the day of the polling, and Mr. Vadivel Suresh had voted in favor of the motion.
But the chief organizer of the opposition, Mr. Lakshman Kiriella, says that his party had decided to vote against the motion in the parliamentary vote to remove the chairman of the Public Utilities Commission.
