The Motor Transport Department has taken a special decision regarding the inclusion of names of previous vehicle owners in the motor vehicle registration certificate.
Accordingly, the Certificate of Registration with effect from 17 May 2023 will only include the names of the current owner and the immediate previous owner.
The department further stated that the number of previous owners is not mentioned in the register, however, the information related to the previous owners will be available in the computer system.
