The foreign remittance sent by foreign employees increased by 75%

The amount of foreign remittance sent to Sri Lanka by foreign employees in March this year increased by 78.5% compared to last year.

Accordingly, the amount of foreign remittance sent by foreign employees in March has increased to 568.3 million US dollars.

The Minister of Labor and Foreign Employment, Mr. Manusha Nanayakkara, says that in March 2022, foreign employees sent an amount of 318.4 million dollars.
