The Ministry of Finance has decided on the transfer of government vehicles given to government officials for their official functions upon their retirement.
Accordingly, the government has taken steps to immediately suspend the ability to take over the vehicles provided to government officials upon their retirement.
Govt. Officials should not be confined to a particular vehicle for their official usage. What they need a vehicle for their mission, after all most are provided with Drivers too, an additional cost.
This rule has to be applied for the 225 + 1 who are @ Diyawannawa too
