Education Minister Dr. Susil Premajayantha says that if the teachers are transferred according to the standard transfer system of the public servants, problems in covering the subject curriculum will arise for the children. Therefore, the teachers will be transferred appropriately by focusing on the needs of the students.
He expressed these views while attending the presentation of the draft of the main plan of digital education to the Minister of Education.
Further commenting on this, the minister mentioned that many administrative problems, such as placements, teacher unions and transfer board conflicts, have arisen due to the non-use of technology for administration.
He mentioned that although a long time has passed since the technology was introduced, it has not been used correctly, and we are far behind technologically on the eve of the fourth industrial revolution and in the future, we will go beyond reforms and aim for transformational change in education.
The Minister further pointed out that the foundation of all educational transformations depends on the technical administrative system, so there should be a revolutionary technical administrative change immediately.
