Colombo Additional Magistrate Mr. T. N. Ilangasinghe has ordered to release of 16 out of the 19 arrested during the protest in Colombo yesterday organized by the Inter-University Student Union.
The police headquarters stated that steps will be taken to obtain a summons order to investigate the incidents related to the struggle that took place since April 09 regarding the remaining three arrested suspects Galwewa Siridhamma Thero, Wasantha Mudalige and Hashan Jawanthu Gunathilake.
