The Public Utilities Commission announces that the revised electricity tariffs will be announced on Tuesday (9).
Its chairman Mr. Janaka Ratnayake mentioned that a special discussion in this regard will be held today (8) at the Ministry of Finance.
He also mentioned that the revision of new electricity tariffs and the concessions given to low-income earners will be discussed there.
After that, the Chairman of the Public Utility Commission added that a press conference will be held on the next day and the revised electricity tariffs will be announced.
