The National Transport Commission states that they will take disciplinary action against buses that do not display the prescribed bus fares.
Its Director-General Dr. Nilan Miranda said that mobile inspectors have been deployed to check whether bus fares are displayed on buses.
The Director-General states that it is mandatory to display bus fares on passenger buses for the information of the passengers.
