Senior lawyer Gomin Dayashri has passed away.
He was 76 years old when he passed away yesterday (01) afternoon.
He is a well-known figure in Sri Lanka’s legal field as well as political and social discourses.
He is famous as a scholar who acted according to the Indo-Lanka Agreement of 1987 to make the North and East provinces into one province and as a person who initiated many such cases.
The last rites of Gomin Dayashri are scheduled to be done today (02) afternoon at Borella Cemetery.
Let him go, whats the big deal – after all the country has nothing to look forward too.
