The Department of Zoology has decided to give the opportunity to school children to name the Bengal tiger cubs born at the Dehiwala Zoo.
Director General of the Department of National Zoological Gardens Thilak Premakantha stated that these names should be proposed before the 10th of this month.

The three Bengali tiger cubs were born on March 5 to a tiger named ‘Robin’ (father) and a female tiger named ‘Kella’ (mother).
The three male cubs now have been exposed to the public after three months of their birth.
