Independent members of the government have decided to support the no-confidence motion against the government brought by the Samagi Janabalavega.
The decision was taken at a discussion held today (07) by a group of Independent members who sat in the Opposition.
Speaking to the media after the discussion, former Minister, Parliamentarian Mahinda Amaraweera revealed this decision.
Mr. Amaraweera said that the imposition of the state of emergency was also discussed at length.
