The government has appointed three new cabinet ministers as co-cabinet spokespersons.
They are Minister of Mass Media Dr. Nalaka Godahewa, Minister of Power and Energy Kanchana Wijesekera and Minister of Plantation Industries and Education Dr. Ramesh Pathirana.
The first cabinet meeting of the new cabinet appointed after the resignation of the previous cabinet was held yesterday afternoon.
The newly appointed Cabinet Spokesman Ramesh Pathirana previously served as a Co-Cabinet Spokesman in the Cabinet.
