These days there are power cuts are functioning all over the island, and if it is observed that there is no power cut in some areas even though those areas have been named in the power cut schedule, the Ministry of Power and Energy informs to call the 1987 hotline.
It has been reported for several days that there are complaints from consumers that there were no power cuts in some areas in the wake of power outages islandwide.
The Ministry of Power and Energy points out that except for special places where power is not cut off if there is no power outage in other places these days, an inquiry will be held.
