Veteran journalist Sunil Madawa Premathilake passed away at the age of 78.
Born on May 12, 1944, he died yesterday. He started his journalistic career at Lake House. He is also one of the founding members of Divaina newspaper.
As a literary person, he has authored numerous books. He also worked as the chief editor of newspapers such as Hiru, Lakdiva and Lakmina.
