Minister of State Channa Jayasumana has stated that he expects the recommendations of the health authorities to give the second dose to children between the ages of 12 and 15.
He added that the state ministry was also seeking recommendations from health authorities to vaccinate children under 12 years of age.
The third dose of COVID-19 has already been given to nearly 600,000 people, the state minister said.
