A young couple died in an accident in Bandaragama

A young couple was killed in a motorcycle accident in the Welmilla area on the Kesbewa road in Bandaragama this morning.

The dead were aged 21 and 19.

In 2021, 2,325 fatal accidents were reported, police said.

At least 2,419 people were killed, police said.
