The National Workshop to Promote the Use of Digital Technology in the Western Province will be held tomorrow (10) at the Bandaranaike International Conference Hall.
The workshop is jointly organized by the Information and Communication Technology Agency of Sri Lanka under the Ministry of Technology, the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission, Telecommunication Service Providers and Industrial Partners.
The Information and Communication Technology Agency says that the conference is being held with the aim of raising awareness for the creation of technology clusters in the Western Province.
This is the fifth time that the Information and Communication Technology Agency of Sri Lanka has organized this workshop and it has previously organized this digital workshop covering several regions of Sri Lanka.
This year’s conference will be held in the Western and North Western Provinces.
This will provide ideas on how to expand new relationships and strengthen existing ones, as well as national digitization paths and plans.
Telecommunication Technology Industry Officers, Small and Medium Enterprises are expected to participate in this session.
