Maradana Police say that copper parts of four air conditioners installed at the SLFP headquarters at Dali Road, Maradana have been stolen.
Maradana Police have arrested a 23-year-old man in connection with the robbery, police spokesman Senior DIG Ajith Rohana said.
The suspect is a resident of Imamul Arush Mawatha, Maradana and is addicted to drugs, police said. Police found the stolen copper parts he had sold at a second-hand shop.
The suspect is to be produced before court today, said Ajith Rohana.
