According to the information received from the country, two retired soldiers of the Sri Lankan army, who have joined the Russian army as mercenaries, were killed in a drone attack by the Ukrainian army yesterday (10).
These two Sri Lankans have been killed in an attack launched by the Ukrainian army targeting the Russian forces who were going to launch a search in an occupied area of Ukraine.
The information received from the country stated that several people of the Russian army were also killed in this attack in Ukraine.
The two deceased are said to be retired military personnel who went to Russia on tourist visas and joined the country’s army.
Agents are currently taking retired military personnel to Russia and employing them in Russian military service, claiming that they are for auxiliary service jobs in the Russian army. Two people who have joined the Russian army have died.
