    Kohli Breaks Sachin’s Century Record

    Former Indian captain Virat Kohli scored his 50th ODI century in the ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 semi-final against New Zealand at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

    Accordingly, Kohli broke the record held by Indian superstar Sachin Tendulkar which was scoring 49 centuries in ODI cricket.

    Kohli, who scored 117 runs in 113 balls, scored his fiftieth century with two sixes and nine fours.

    Sachin Tendulkar was also present at the ground to witness Kohli’s record innings. He also got up from his seat and congratulated Kohli.

    Sachin Tendulkar congratulated Kohli in a tweet. Sachin had mentioned there that it was a pleasure to see the young Virat who was first seen in the Indian team’s dressing room and is now doing his best as a player.

    India scored 397 runs for 4 wickets.
